As you may already know the school has fantastic some fantastic wild spaces and provides a great opportunity for outdoor learning.
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
As part of our fundraising initiatives for this year we have committed to bringing Forest School to Bromet for every pupil to experience this year. The team from Wild Time Adventures are coming to the school every Tuesday to run up to 6 sessions with each child. This has already started with KS1 and they will work their way up school as the year progresses.
The PTFA can commit to providing 60% of the cost for each child to attend Forest school for 6 sessions this year l but we need parent donations to cover the rest. We have setup a page on the website and are asking for a donation of £5 / £10 or £15 per child.
Donations would be greatly appreciated. We have already had some great reports from the children who have taken part in forest school and how fun its been!
We hope you can join us in making next year extra special and fun for all the children at Bromet.
