The event will start at 3.30pm on the field. Children will be able to change into clothes they don’t mind getting dirty in their classrooms from 3pm.
The children will do two laps of the field, they will be staggered going around in their classes!
They will stop at four stations along the way, the stations will either spray the children with water or cover them in powdered colour!
There is a £2 voluntary donation to enter the race and we would like the children raise as much sponsorship money as they can !
We will ask parents to sign a waiver so they are aware of what the children are taking part in.
The sponsorship form and waiver will be given to the children in their book bags.
Questions you may have:
What is the powder made of?
Corn starch and natural vegetable or food grade dyes. The powders are non-flammable and non-toxic. The powder is safe for children to use, but we strongly advice that sunglasses are worn to avoid any irritation to the eyes
What to wear?
Something you don’t mind getting dirty – a plain white t shirt would be great to see all the colours! Although bear in mind the colours may stain the clothes.
Things to bring?
Change of clothes (that you don’t mind getting dirty)
Sunglasses or swimming goggles
£50 John Lewis voucher (kindly donated by Robson’s).
£25 to spend at The Royal Oak (on takeaway food or at the bar when they open).
A novelty suit made from bubble wrap!
Once finished, you can then either share your children's entries (no pictures of children please) by tagging our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages, or email them along with completed sponsor forms to us at brometptfa@gmail.com.
Closing date for entries is 28th February, and we will announce the lucky winners the week after. Happy hunting! We look forward to seeing all your amazing treasures...
As an added bonus, we will be awarding three £10 Amazon voucher prizes for the most imaginative treasures found in KS1 and in KS2, and for the most sponsor money raised!
